Mila Lumbroso studied singing and piano at the Rachmaninoff Conservatory in Paris, then at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she graduated with a Professional Music Degree.

She currently performs with José Boto’s Brazilian group, “Novo Tempos”.

Between 1997 and 1999 she directed a number of children’s choirs for the Jazz Cartoon Festival with Jean-Luc Fillon.

She formed the Jazz 4tet with Christophe Walleme, then another quartet with Thierry Eliez with whom she performed in several clubs and concerts both in Paris and in the provinces, and toured with the Maxime Saury Orchestra, recorded with several artists (Trio Ceccarelli, Sixun and Catherine Lara etc.). She has also toured for 3 months with Johnny Hallyday as a backup singer.

Creation of “Carmen Jazz” (Vienna Jazz Festival), in the role of Mercedès with Dee Dee Bridgewater.

She has been teaching singing at the Bill Evans Piano Academy since 2000.
